Parissa and Michael planned a romantic Rosecliff Mansion wedding on a particularly perfect July day. Their friends and family were so involved and supportive throughout the whole day. You can really see these in some of the candids I included in this entry. The bride is of Chinese and Persian descent; two diverse cultures rich in tradition, music, food and fashion. One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is capturing cultures different than my own. It’s one of my favorite parts of this job. I love being immersed in an experience that feels like you’ve been transported to another country through music, dancing and food, while still being in place that is familiar.
Part One of their wedding blog features the pre-ceremony, First Look and Portraits. Parissa and Mike had their First Look at Salve Regina University’s Ochre Court. (Available to rent for $375 as a SRU alum and $475 for all others) We had the rare luxury of time to capture so many images in two historic Newport mansions. Both properties blend seamlessly together for a gorgeous, quintessential Rhode Island wedding. Read more about the history of Salve Regina’s Ochre Court: https://salve.edu/ochre-court

Seeing Parissa for the first time!
Such a supportive group of friends! They were close enough to see and far enough for the couple’s moment.
An in-between-moment of the groom and his new father-in-law.
