Maddie & James recently welcomed their first child and asked me to document this milestone for their family. I photographed their engagement and wedding previously as well as Maddie’s sister’s wedding many, many years ago. I love working for the same family over and over. This location is a special spot to them in their neighborhood’s association. The rich fall tones were wonderful and warm on this late October day. Of course, bringing your beloved dog is always encouraged. Don’t let their sweaters fool you…it was about 78 degrees and humid this day! Many people think late October is freezing cold. Our average temperature is 64 degrees. That’s a perfect temperature for portraits because we walk a lot! I always keep it moving quickly from one location to the next for a variety of different backgrounds and options.
