Melissa & Ed had the most quintessential Newport wedding at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at Salve Regina University and Rosecliff Mansion. I mean seriously…this is the type of day every Newport bride dreams of: perfect June weather, lush green lawns, ocean views and historic beauty for days! We had an absolute blast photographing this amazing power couple. Once you look at the images below, I think you’ll instantly fall in love with Melissa and her megawatt smile that lights up every room. What a joy it was to have these two in front of my lens! Their color palette of delicate blushes, cream and hints of gold was ideal for Rosecliff mansion. In keeping with the theme of their historic venue, Melissa & Ed performed a choreographed first dance, The True Lies Tango, that dazzled their guests! (Fun Fact: Parts of the 1994 film “True Lies” with Arnold Schwarzenegger was filmed at Rosecliff Mansion) Looking at these photos always makes my heart happy! Thank you, Melissa & Ed for believing in us!

Edward is a gentleman with impeccable style!
Of course, his bride, Melissa, also has amazing taste.
Melissa & Ed are both runners and custom New Balance sneakers were one of his gifts to her and his groomsmen.
How can you not have fun at work when you get to spend the day with a great girl like this?
One of my favorite parts of photographing at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel is the opportunity to get amazing close-up photos of the couple. It’s unique set-up allows for great images of all this EXPRESSION! And what an expressive bride Melissa was As you can see, I couldn’t help myself and just kept clicking away.
Here’s the True Lies Tango I told you about!
Doesn’t Ed have that 1920s leading man vibe going on? I felt like I was being transported in time back to the Gilded Age in Newport.
